Bombtrack: Micro Drive Fixed Freestyle Hub

After years of fixed freestyle riders demanding a micro drive, splined hub, Bombtrack pushes forward in the race to release its product first. Their fully-patented, 9t and 10t splined driver hub will hit the shelves this August. Don’t worry about availability in the USA, they’ve licensed the product to several manufacturers Stateside as well. Am I the only one that would love a 14t driver?

Profile Racing: 120mm Cassette Hubs

These are perfect for those of you who have a singlespeed and are looking for an easy way to swap out cogs. Profile gets a request for these once and a while and after some tinkering, they only had to make one new part. Here's the deal from Profile:

"We’ve gotten occasional requests for this, so after a little trial and error, we discovered that we only needed to make one new part, and use one pre-existing part from our MTB hubs, to convert our legendary BMX Cassette hubs from 110mm OLD to 120mm OLD. Not only can you use our premium Elite BMX hub with it’s 6 pawl Ultradriver, you can also use our less expensive 4 pawl Mini and Totem Cassette hubs."

"We recently got in all our sample Contact hubs to most of the team guys and the testing has been going great. The idea behind the Contact was to have smaller drivers (9t & 10t) similar to a BMX driver. The driver slides in and locks in. It doesn’t allow any sort of bolts or anything else to keep it fixed. The aesthetics of the hub looks awesome too, really clean and simple looking. We’ll keep you guys posted as soon as we get to production."
