One of the best things about the NYC Bicycle Film Festival are the hordes of people who come in town to ride. Oscar Khan flew over from the UK to hang out and even though he was jet-lagged as hell, he still threw down some clean moves. After splitting his pants to his bare-arse, he left for 20 minutes to search for new threads.

When he came back, he had new pants and began blasting tucked airs and t-bogs. He also threw a bar 180 off the lip but didn't land it, which is a shame because it's one of my favorite photos from the day. But this t-bog came out sick. I love how the seat tube lines up perfectly with the bridge. It's one of those things that I wanted to get in the photo, but didn't expect to.

Later, he and Santos hucked themselves down the four-flat-eight at the entrance. Oscar firecrackered it at first, then gapped the whole set and finally, he landed an acceptable but not perfect tuck-no down the set. Very impressive! More to come.

Over a year of solid development, a dozen molds and multiple geometry changes we are glad to say that we now have our Hammer Framesets and Tank Forks are now officially available and in stock!

Each frameset comes standard with 14MM rear dropouts and CNC machined axle guides to accept 14MM, 10MM, or 3/8” rear hubs via our stainless steel inserts. The Tank Fork also comes standard with 14mm fork dropouts, including interchangeable 9mm inserts.

Our machined rear axle guides ensure a solid fit and precise alignment to your wheels, no matter what size hub you are running. Both the rear ball tensioner and CNC machined inserts have been mil-spec hard anodized (Type III) to provide superior resistance to abrasion and greater coating density than traditional anodizing.

在我工作空餘時間繼續推動fixed gear在台灣.

順便回答一些問題
近日有一些朋友詢問什麼車好要買什麼車你覺得什麼品牌的車架比較好
到底該買什麼車. 台灣做的車架可以買嗎. 等等問題

安培來回答.
聽到這些問題說實在我沒辦法立刻回答
車架有很多種我覺得好也不一定適合你
品牌先拋開腦後車架好不好應該要以你想玩的方向與未來性去選擇
如果你只是單純想路上騎車當交通工具代步又有參予fixed gear的色彩
未來性沒有要玩招,或是亂跳之類的或是競輪.
基本上你就可以選擇所有市面上的車台只要是你看起來順眼喜歡搭配的好你都可以買. 當然如果你有品牌形象的癖好你可能就要選一台聯名款或是有牌子的車買. 如果沒有品牌形象的癖好只是單純代步只是想有fixed gear的色彩與參予感.那真的不用想太多只要你看喜歡的預算夠都可以買.

如果你對競輪很有意思,可能你就要挑一下品牌的車架與你的身材尺寸多看網路多爬文多請教有競輪的人,多看別人搭配的配件與零件品牌, 重量 .
每一個細節對競輪來說都是很重要的.其實競輪的危險度並不會低於玩招. 車手瞬間加速瞬間停止抽車的力量扭力是很驚人的, 所以需要有安全的車架與配件. 這些也是不容忽視的. 所以才會有一些協會或是管材在上面做標記. 也就是標記品質的肯定.
而選擇歐系的車還是njs的車風格配件也蠻不同的. 就要看個人喜好.

品牌的經營是長久的一個車廠要花多少時間與金錢才能把一個品牌搞出名,而去了解一個品牌的產生造車工業與風格態度觀察會比聽別人講這車屌這車很酷來的實際 .了解你想買的品牌去研究探討也會讓你在雍有他的時候來的意義更深!

如果是要玩招可能就要考量車台的強壯與未來性的發展,
玩招車很多問題要得到答案都是要去做功課,多看,多注意fixed gear新聞,重點要多騎車 .多練車才能了解你真正需要什麼 .要買什麼. 注意什麼怎麼設定,而不是別人說什麼就是什麼.就像有人問你鞋子要買什麼牌子比較好? 我覺得這雙鞋好穿但在你身上不一定適合你的腳 ! 未來性先確認自己玩的風格就像最近火紅的負五通車架全球在火熱,如果你也沒在卡干,未來性你也不會想要卡干,那你就沒有必要為了火紅的潮流去選擇負度五通的車架與14mm的後花鼓,因為你也用不到, 只是增加重量而已,如果本身有在卡干,還在練習剛好想換車台未來性是有可能想要練前後火箭炮卡干的話這股火熱潮流的負度五通車台你就可以購買, 而每款車架擺開造型之後就是角度問題補強堅固問題重量問題這些不是只有用看的用問的就可以馬上了解,必須要試乘之後才會略懂,稍微感覺到.像是把手的角度與龍頭區炳長度坐墊做管高度輪組每一項目都要親自去探討使用後才會慢慢發現他的好壞,所以我說這些東西好壞在任何人身上並不一定適用.
所以最好花一點時間去試騎,去研究. 多看看,台灣的店家都有提供試乘的服務項目.相信有禮貌一點態度好一點店家都會親自幫你介紹 !

而台灣是腳踏車王國全世界很多品牌的車架零件都是台灣做的.
台灣比較缺少的是Design 不過這兩年台灣fixed gear 的Design水準已經不輸外國了. 也有許多廠商都在幫國外做零件代工.

CONGO LEAVES VOLUME//NEW BIKE CHECK

you probably already caught this on THE VOLUME SITE, but congo has moved on from volume bikes///still riding for RESIST tho. this is his latest LDG build, no word on whether he made the switch or if he's just trying shit out, but eiether way, im psyched for whatever he chooses to do. he fucking kills it/has been killing it for as long as i can remember. should be sick to see him ride something he can get legit with double pegs on. head over to VOLUME for their side of the story and a classic congo bike check.
